What You'll Do24
- 1Schedule intake appointments for potential new patients
- 2Schedule patient annual physicals
- 3Interview new potential patients to assure qualifications for Methadone program
- 4Gather heroin/opiate use information for physician assessment
- 5Complete intake packets with each patient upon intake
- 6Collect samples and complete rapid drug screens
- 7Provide information to apply for Medicaid
- 8Input patient demographics into SAMMS computer
- 9Work directly with nursing and physicians daily
- 10Assist with light clerical duties such as filing copying and typing
- 11Keep patient emergency information up to date
- 12Provide superior patient services while upholding company policy and HIPAA compliance
- 13Ensure proper form signing and fax outgoing information
- 14Manage multiline phone system and forward calls
- 15Verify insurance eligibility information
- 16Generate billing reports
- 17Complete check in process for dispensing area
- 18Follow clinic policies and state/federal regulations
- 19Assist with chart audits filing and new chart creation
- 20Coordinate transfer paperwork with local hospitals and upload documents
- 21Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities
- 22Possess self-starter proactive organized interpersonal communication skills
- 23Maintain high ownership accuracy and detail orientation
- 24Adaptability in matrixed organizational structure
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent from accredited secondary education institute
- 2Experience and knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
- 3Prior experience identifying admission criteria for programs
- 4Experience managing multiple priorities
- 5Self-starter proactive organized interpersonal communication skills
- 6Detail-oriented approach with strong ownership and accuracy
- 7Proven competency with MS Office applications including Word Excel and PowerPoint
- 8Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
- 9Satisfactory references from employers or professional peers
