Overview
Full-time office-based Certified Physician Assistant with Orthopedic experience joins rapidly growing practice. Candidate will practice autonomously, performing evaluations, injections, imaging interpretation, and coordinating care under supervision. Must document accurately and provide patient education.
What You'll Do11
- 1Greet patients and complete histories and physical exams including movement and positioning
- 2Order and interpret tests, treatments, and therapies within scope of practice
- 3Perform office-based procedures such as injections using ultrasound guidance
- 4Interpret plain x-rays MRI and various scans and tests
- 5Prescribe medications diet supplies and home health needs post-operatively
- 6Instruct and counsel patients on treatment plans using established materials
- 7Document care in medical records promptly
- 8Provide education to patients families and significant others
- 9Act as quarterback coordinating care with Medical Director
- 10Integrate evidence-based knowledge in decision-making
- 11Manage new patient evaluations follow-ups and post-op visits
Requirements5
- 1Graduate of accredited Physician’s Assistant Program
- 2Physician Assistant License current
- 35+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 44 years Orthopedic experience including spinal and extremity evaluation
- 52 years clinic experience preferred
