Orthodontic Dental Assistant, Hi-Tech & Invisalign
Overview
You will own hands-on patient care at West Chester Orthodontics, a Hi-Tech practice using digital x-rays, itero scanning, and 3D printing. You will collaborate with a team-driven staff across a four-day work week, with Fridays for training. This role suits individuals from hair styling or waiting backgrounds who want to learn orthodontic assisting without prior dental experience. You will transform smiles with braces and Invisalign in a brand new facility opening in October.
What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver top-tier treatment with braces, Invisalign, and a variety of appliances.
- 2Assist the doctor chair-side, following treatment plans with precision.
- 3Take accurate X-rays, maintaining certification and patient safety.
- 4Capture photographs and digital impressions using our itero scanner.
- 5Sterilize instruments and maintain overall office cleanliness.
- 6Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment processes.
- 7Fabricate models and retainers via 3D printing.
- 8Protect patient confidentiality and contribute to outstanding customer service.
Requirements7
- 1Current X-ray certification or willingness to obtain it.
- 20+ years of dental experience accepted, but you must show strong organizational skills and initiative.
- 3Ability to multitask and anticipate the needs of others.
- 4Project a positive, warm, professional image to patients.
