Oracle EPM Cloud Consultant, Hybrid in Washington DC
Overview
You will own the Oracle EPM Cloud platform for a multi-year contract, driving enhancements across planning, integrations, and calculations. You'll work with PBCS, Essbase, and Groovy to build complex business rules and ensure data accuracy. Joining a collaborative finance transformation team, you'll support forecasting and annual planning at enterprise scale. This role demands immediate contribution, not supervision, with a mix of run/support and enhancement projects.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and maintain complex calculations and business rules using Essbase, Groovy, and MDX for Oracle EPM Cloud applications.
- 2Develop and support data integrations with Data Management, Data Exchange, and ODI to ensure seamless data flow.
- 3Configure metadata, security, and operational controls across EPM environments to maintain data integrity.
- 4Validate and reconcile data loads, ensuring accuracy and downstream integrity for financial reporting.
- 5Support forecasting, annual planning, and financial modeling to align with business objectives.
- 6Perform system testing, regression testing, and manage migrations and environment refreshes/cloning.
- 7Troubleshoot and resolve EPM issues with internal teams and Oracle Support.
- 8Translate business requirements into scalable models, forms, and reports for stakeholders.
- 9Execute the EPM roadmap aligned with Finance Transformation, prioritizing enhancements.
Requirements8
- 15+ years hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including Planning and PBCS.
- 23+ years building Essbase calculations and business rules with Groovy and MDX.
- 33+ years configuring data integrations using Data Management and Data Exchange.
- 4Proven experience with complex EPM data flows, metadata, and security management.
- 52+ years working with Oracle ERP financials (GL, AP, FA, Projects) is a plus.
- 6ODI experience is a plus.
- 7Experience in financial institutions or regulated industries is a plus.
- 8EPM certification (e.g., Oracle EPM Cloud Certification) is a plus.
