Overview
You will own Oracle database development and administration for a federal enterprise environment, serving thousands of users across mission-critical systems. What You'll Do10
- 1Develop SQL and PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, views, and database applications.
- 2Administer and troubleshoot Oracle Database, Oracle Grid Infrastructure, RAC, Oracle WebLogic Server, and Oracle Fusion Middleware environments.
- 3Build and maintain end-to-end ETL processes and Oracle data warehouse solutions for production, development, and QA.
- 4Design and maintain Oracle BI Publisher reports, Spotfire web reports, and related analytics applications.
- 5Perform database performance tuning, monitoring, patching, upgrades, backup/recovery, and lifecycle maintenance.
- 6Support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migrations and database and middleware upgrades.
- 7Generate technical and performance reports, and maintain system configuration and recovery documentation.
- 8Troubleshoot Oracle database, middleware, ETL, application, and Linux environment issues.
- 9Provide technical guidance and training to Government personnel for knowledge transfer.
- 10Implement Oracle security best practices, CIS Benchmarks, and PIV/ICAM integration.
Requirements9
- 15+ years of Oracle database development and administration experience.
- 2Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming skills, including stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and views.
- 3Experience with Oracle Database, Oracle Grid Infrastructure, RAC, Oracle WebLogic Server, and Oracle Fusion Middleware.
- 4Experience with Oracle database upgrades, migrations, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- 5Experience developing automated ETL processes, Oracle data warehouse solutions, BI Publisher reports, and enterprise reporting applications.
- 6Experience with database performance tuning, monitoring, patching, upgrades, backup/recovery, and lifecycle management.
- 7Basic Microsoft SQL Server development or administration experience.
- 8Experience supporting Linux environments and automation using Bash, Python, WLST, Perl, or similar scripting tools.
- 9Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 4 Public Trust (High Risk) background investigation.
