Overview
You will architect and deliver Oracle Cloud solutions for enterprise clients, owning the technical blueprint for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migrations. You will lead cloud adoption strategies, design high-availability architectures, and drive modernization programs. You will join a team of cloud specialists at Gurus Infotech, collaborating on 12+ month engagements in New York. This role demands deep expertise in Oracle Exadata and large-scale migration projects, with direct impact on customer outcomes.
What You'll Do7
- 1Design end-to-end OCI architectures for cloud migration, including network, compute, storage, and identity.
- 2Lead lift-and-shift and modernization migration projects for enterprise Oracle workloads.
- 3Architect and deploy Oracle Exadata solutions on-premises and in cloud (EXACS/EXACC).
- 4Optimize Oracle database performance and cost on OCI, implementing best practices for high availability and disaster recovery.
- 5Collaborate with clients to define migration strategies, assess on-premises landscapes, and build business cases.
- 6Drive technical workshops and proof-of-concepts to validate solutions with 2-3 reference clients.
- 7Create detailed architecture documentation, runbooks, and operational handoffs.
Requirements7
- 110+ years in Oracle database technologies and enterprise architecture.
- 25+ years hands-on with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- 33+ years working with Oracle Exadata on-premises and cloud (EXACS/EXACC).
- 4Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5Proven experience in large-scale cloud migration projects, including lift-and-shift and modernization.
- 6Strong understanding of Oracle database versions 19c and 23c, including RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
- 7Valid Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate or Professional certification.
