Oracle APEX PL/SQL Developer, TS/SCI Clearance & Polygraph
Overview
Owns the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise Oracle APEX applications at scale for mission-critical programs. Collaborates with business stakeholders, technical teams, and DBAs to translate requirements into secure, scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly solutions. Leverages Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and JavaScript to build responsive interfaces, optimize performance, and integrate services across the development lifecycle. This role focuses on security, reliability, and continuous improvement within a mission-focused environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and enhance enterprise Oracle APEX applications delivering measurable improvements in usability and performance
- 2Design complex database objects using PL/SQL including packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
- 3Develop responsive user interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript within Oracle APEX
- 4Customize APEX components such as Interactive Grids, Interactive Reports, and Validations to meet requirements
- 5Implement REST APIs and integrate external systems with Oracle APEX applications
- 6Improve SQL performance and tune application queries for efficiency and scale
- 7Ensure application security with APEX authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices
- 8Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, code reviews, testing, and deployments
- 9Create reusable APEX components and establish development standards and best practices
- 10Maintain documentation and provide production support including debugging and enhancements
Requirements10
- 1Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
- 2Five (5) or more years of professional software development experience with Oracle technologies
- 3Strong hands-on experience developing applications with Oracle APEX
- 4Advanced knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
- 5Experience developing PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and other database objects
- 6Strong experience with JavaScript and jQuery within Oracle APEX applications
- 7Proficiency with HTML5 and CSS3 including responsive web development
- 8Experience customizing Oracle APEX Universal Theme and interfaces
- 9Experience with APEX Dynamic Actions and client-side/server-side processing
- 10Experience developing and customizing Interactive Reports and Interactive Grids
