Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer, Enterprise Data & Cloud Migration
Overview
Own the design development and optimization of Oracle database solutions at scale for enterprise applications. You will work with cross functional teams to modernize migrate and integrate data across on premise and cloud environments. You will lead performance tuning data integration and ETL processes to ensure reliability and security in high volume transactional systems. This role differentiates itself through hands on PL/SQL mastery and collaboration with architects DBAs and developers.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build complex PL/SQL packages stored procedures and triggers and maintain database objects
- 2Design and optimize SQL queries and execution plans for large volume enterprise databases including indexing partitioning and materialized views
- 3Develop and maintain ETL processes batch jobs and automated data workflows
- 4Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis to implement permanent fixes in PL/SQL and SQL
- 5Collaborate with Java .NET Python REST API teams to optimize database access patterns and integration solutions
- 6Develop deployment scripts using Git Azure DevOps Jenkins and CI/CD practices
- 7Support modernization initiatives including cloud migration and database migration projects
- 8Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and code reviews to raise quality and consistency
- 9Mentor junior developers and establish development standards and best practices
- 10Provide accurate estimates and contribute to technical design decisions
Requirements5
- 16+ years of professional experience in Oracle PL/SQL development in enterprise environments
- 2Strong hands on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL Packages Stored procedures Functions Cursors Triggers Collections
- 3Advanced SQL development skills including complex joins subqueries CTEs analytical/window functions
- 4Experience with Oracle Database 12c 19c or newer and performance tuning
- 5Experience with Oracle Scheduler Data Pump and database migration processes
