Oracle Database Developer, PL/SQL & Performance Tuning
Overview
You will design, develop, and optimize database solutions for enterprise applications at Kanshe Infotech in San Jose. You own database architecture and performance for critical systems. You will work with a team of engineers to integrate data and ensure reliability. This role centers on Oracle Database expertise and hands-on PL/SQL development, with direct impact on production systems.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and build database schemas, stored procedures, and packages using Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
- 2Write and maintain triggers, functions, and complex scripts to support business logic.
- 3Tune and optimize SQL queries and database performance for high-volume transaction systems.
- 4Execute data migration and integration tasks using Oracle Data Pump and SQL*Loader.
- 5Debug production issues, analyze root causes, and implement fixes to meet SLAs.
- 6Collaborate with developers to design efficient data models and ensure data integrity.
- 7Automate routine database maintenance tasks using shell scripts and cron.
- 8Document database designs and changes for team reference.
Requirements6
- 15+ years developing with Oracle Database and SQL.
- 23+ years writing complex PL/SQL code including procedures and packages.
- 3Proficiency with stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.
- 4Hands-on experience with data migration and integration tools.
- 5Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in database environments.
- 6Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and OEM is a plus.
