What You'll Do11
- 1Determine patient visit reasons and recommend eyewear based on prescriptions and lifestyles
- 2Attract and retain customers through outstanding service and patient satisfaction
- 3Assist frame selection using optical measurements and prescriptions
- 4Recommend lenses coatings and frames tailored to customer needs and habits
- 5Take precise measurements and handle adjustments or troubleshooting
- 6Dispense eyewear with correct pricing and delivery time quotes
- 7Communicate enthusiastically and concisely to meet patient expectations
- 8Merchandise displays daily and maintain professional appearance standards
- 9Process insurance billing and orders accurately
- 10Document all patient communications within practice software systems
- 11Participate in special projects and other assigned duties
Requirements11
- 11-2 years related experience if applicable
- 2State licensure or certification by nationally recognized optician association
- 3Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- 4Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
