Overview
Deliver an elevated eyewear experience as an Optical Specialist at Eyeglass World, owning the final moments of the customer journey: pre-exam support, eyewear selection, fitting, and polished handoff. You will work alongside Optometrists and store staff in a high-volume retail environment, ensuring every customer leaves confident in their look and care. This role blends customer connection, clinical flow support, and finishing precision, with Sundays off and clear paths to advancement through National Vision's internal promotion programs.
What You'll Do7
- 1Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education, ensuring a confident and on-brand experience at every stage.
- 2Assist with patient flow and pre-exam screenings to support Optometrists, keeping the transition from exam to finish seamless.
- 3Perform finishing work, including adjustments, inspections, and quality checks, so every pair of eyewear meets Eyeglass World standards.
- 4Prepare orders for pickup and deliver a polished, brand-aligned handoff that leaves customers excited to wear their new frames.
- 5Handle order entry, tracking, and timely completion, maintaining organized and efficient finish and retail areas.
- 6Identify and resolve quality or service issues proactively, escalating when needed to protect the customer experience.
- 7Model Eyeglass World service standards and brand behaviors, partnering with the store team to deliver a consistent, elevated experience.
Requirements7
- 11+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service (required).
- 2High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- 3Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills (required).
- 4Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively (required).
- 5Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction (required).
- 6Support store team in shared goals (required).
- 7Bilingual abilities (preferred).
