What You'll Do9
- 1Fabricate, cut, and edge lenses using optical lab equipment to fulfill prescription eyewear orders
- 2Assemble all types of frames including Metal, Zyl, Rimless, and Drill mount with precision
- 3Inspect finished eyewear for quality control and accuracy against prescriptions
- 4Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that fit lifestyle, prescription, and personal style
- 5Perform frame adjustments, repairs, and fittings for optimal comfort and fit
- 6Process and track eyewear orders, both in-house and with outside labs
- 7Maintain lab equipment, inventory, and a clean, organized workspace
- 8Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and brands to drive informed purchasing decisions
- 9Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with a passion for fashion and eyewear
Requirements7
- 1Prior experience in an optical lab or retail optical environment strongly preferred
- 2Familiarity with lens edging, surfacing, and optical lab equipment
- 3ABO certification a plus
- 4Strong sales skills with a customer-first, consultative approach
- 5Excellent attention to detail and ability to read and interpret optical prescriptions
- 6Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred for our Miami clientele
- 7Positive, professional demeanor with a passion for fashion and eyewear
