What You'll Do16

  • 1Conduct comprehensive patient history assessments covering ocular medical surgical social and family aspects
  • 2Measure visual acuity for near and distance vision including pinhole testing
  • 3Perform automated lensometry with precision
  • 4Conduct preliminary eye examinations identifying normal findings
  • 5Administer specialized tests such as Amsler Stereo and Color Vision Testing
  • 6Perform Auto Refraction and basic manual refractometry
  • 7Accurately conduct Applanation Tonometry
  • 8Execute Fundus Photography with expertise
  • 9Perform repeatable diagnostic testing
  • 10Educate patients on eye care procedures and protocols
  • 11Provide clear explanations of Lasik and Cataract surgery
  • 12Demonstrate basic scribing competency
  • 13Identify and discuss abnormal findings with physicians during Preliminary Exams
  • 14Perform manual lensometry determining power sphere cylinder axis bifocal trifocal and progressive lenses
  • 15Conduct intermediate refractometry with attention to detail
  • 16Recognize abnormalities during diagnostic testing and communicate findings effectively

Requirements5

  • 1High school degree or equivalent
  • 2Medical management computer software and Windows based operating system knowledge
  • 35+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 43-5 seasons leading technical projects
  • 5Strong customer service abilities interacting with patients doctors and co-workers
