Overview

Industrial Heavy Equipment Operators will operate one or more cranes to move heavy equipment across locations requiring altitude changes. This role involves friction and RT crane operation. The position requires current CCCO certification and DOT physical. Candidates must possess all knowledge skills and abilities outlined below. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are necessary.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Operate various construction cranes to move equipment and materials
  • 2Plan operational lifts and inspect equipment before use
  • 3Follow signal directions from a signaler during equipment operations
  • 4Assess area of operations for safety issues and process planning
  • 5Maintain accurate documentation for equipment inspections
  • 6Assist in additional duties when not operating a crane
  • 7Adhere to all safety regulations and complete administrative tasks
  • 8Communicate effectively using verbal instructions and hand signals
  • 9Follow scheduled shifts and report any absenteeism promptly
  • 10Demonstrate reliability accountability and consistency in performance

Requirements10

  • 1Current National Commission for the certification of crane operators (CCCO) credentials for the appropriate crane type
  • 2Valid DOT physical and driving record
  • 3Experience operating Manitowoc 2250 16000 4100 Link belt 218 Kabelco 2500 and RT cranes ranging from 25T to 140T
  • 4Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform equipment inspections
  • 5Proficiency in load planning and lift planning techniques
  • 6Willingness to help with other job duties when not operating equipment
  • 7Ability to follow written instructions precisely
  • 8Strong reliability and accountability in completing administrative processes
  • 9Current Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee status
  • 10Previous experience with Zachry Industrial Inc.
