Hydraulic and Electromechanical Crane Service Specialist
Overview
Lead the diagnosis and repair of mobile hydraulic and lattice boom cranes to meet OEM standards. Own independent projects while aligning with customer needs. Drive growth through personalized training plans. Impact includes inspecting cranes testing repairs and performing annual inspections. Deliver professional service and handle additional duties.
What You'll Do11
- 1Operate and inspect cranes to identify faults
- 2Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic electrical and electronic subsystems
- 3Check parts for damage using micrometers and gauges
- 4Interpret manuals blueprints and technical drawings to plan repairs
- 5Test repairs and modifications to confirm OEM compliance
- 6Stage jobs by validating parts and drawings
- 7Perform accurate annual inspections
- 8Complete documentation including work reports time sheets and expense reports
- 9Deliver attentive customer service and take on other tasks
- 10Maintain safety protocols and report unsafe conditions
- 11Lift materials up to 40 pounds as needed
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years as a Mechanic Technician
- 2Experience with Grove RT & TMS Grove GMK Manitowoc EPIC Traditional boom trucks
- 3Fluency in electrical and hydraulic schematics
- 4Valid driver’s license with satisfactory record
- 5Basic computer skills preferred
- 6Physical stamina for outdoor work in extreme weather
- 7Clear communication and customer-focused attitude
- 8Ability to pass vision tests including color and depth perception
- 9Willingness to work full-time with potential overtime and weekends
- 10Commitment to safety and willingness to undergo training
