What You'll Do11

  • 1Operate and inspect cranes to identify faults
  • 2Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic electrical and electronic subsystems
  • 3Check parts for damage using micrometers and gauges
  • 4Interpret manuals blueprints and technical drawings to plan repairs
  • 5Test repairs and modifications to confirm OEM compliance
  • 6Stage jobs by validating parts and drawings
  • 7Perform accurate annual inspections
  • 8Complete documentation including work reports time sheets and expense reports
  • 9Deliver attentive customer service and take on other tasks
  • 10Maintain safety protocols and report unsafe conditions
  • 11Lift materials up to 40 pounds as needed

Requirements10

  • 1High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years as a Mechanic Technician
  • 2Experience with Grove RT & TMS Grove GMK Manitowoc EPIC Traditional boom trucks
  • 3Fluency in electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • 4Valid driver’s license with satisfactory record
  • 5Basic computer skills preferred
  • 6Physical stamina for outdoor work in extreme weather
  • 7Clear communication and customer-focused attitude
  • 8Ability to pass vision tests including color and depth perception
  • 9Willingness to work full-time with potential overtime and weekends
  • 10Commitment to safety and willingness to undergo training
