Overview
Operations Manager will own non-clinical, day-to-day operations for a pediatric autism treatment center, guiding HR, scheduling, billing coordination, facilities, and administration at scale. You will partner with the Clinical Director and therapy team to ensure a smooth, compliant operation and high-quality client care. This role blends process-driven management with people-facing responsibilities and requires strong organization and empathy.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build and maintain a safe, welcoming center environment for staff, children, and families
- 2Oversee vendor relationships for cleaning, IT, and maintenance services
- 3Schedule management: align master calendar with therapist availability and client authorizations to maximize utilization
- 4Coordinate Billing & Intake with the billing department to audit logs, verify authorizations, handle intake, and address copay inquiries
- 5Lead HR processes including attendance, payroll assistance, onboarding, and background checks for new hires
- 6Ensure compliance with local healthcare, safety, and labor regulations and maintain emergency plans
Requirements5
- 13+ years of operations or practice management experience in healthcare, therapy, or childcare
- 2Strong organizational skills and proficiency with scheduling/practice management software
- 3Experience navigating insurance authorizations or medical billing
- 4Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5Excellent communication and empathy when interacting with parents and staff
