Operations Manager, Custom Construction & Remodeling
Overview
Own and optimize the preconstruction, design, and project management lifecycle for a luxury custom building and remodeling firm in Phoenix. Lead estimating, design teams, and MP&E bids, coordinating with architects, engineers, and suppliers to meet strict deadlines. Manage daily tasks, trackers, and construction software to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery. Work closely with the owner to maintain client relationships and keep projects running smoothly at a high pace.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead preconstruction and design meetings and selections
- 2Direct estimating, design, and project management teams to meet deadlines
- 3Coordinate with subcontractors for bids and schedule
- 4Maintain trackers and construction software accuracy
- 5Formulate cost breakdowns across the construction process
- 6Oversee client relationship management and communications with designers and owners
- 7Assist owner to ensure projects run smoothly and on schedule
- 8Maintain and update project documentation and drawings
- 9Ramp up jobs and monitor purchasing activities
- 10Provide leadership in the preconstruction and design process
