Operations Manager, CDL Driver Regional Logistics
Overview
Own dispatch and maintenance for regional AMZN runs at scale within a Phoenix yard to ensure on time deliveries. Lead operations scheduling, training, and documentation while managing HOS compliance and driver communications. Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule service for Volvos VNL 860 and ensure W-2 employees operate safely. This role blends on site leadership with remote coordination across Phoenix, SoCal, Las Vegas, ABQ and El Paso.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build and optimize dispatch plans for regional AMZN routes from PHX to SoCal, LAS, ABQ, and El Paso to improve on time delivery.
- 2Design and validate maintenance schedules for Volvo VNL 860 trucks to minimize downtime.
- 3Lead safety and HOS compliance using Motive ELD and HOS management tools.
- 4Coordinate training, documentation, and communication to ensure drivers and staff stay informed and compliant.
- 5Ship and manage operational tasks 70% remote with four days per week in the PHX yard
- 6Drive communication with drivers to ensure timely performance and high service levels.
Requirements5
- 1CDL A license with commercial driving experience
- 2Experience with HOS management and Motive ELD
- 3Strong communication skills and ability to work with patience and kindness
- 4On-time and proactive problem solving with driver coordination

Salary Insight
$58 - $72k per year
