Overview

As the Operations Maintenance Manager at iRhythm Technologies, you will own the equipment maintenance program across our manufacturing facilities, ensuring 90%+ uptime for critical production lines. You will lead a team of Manufacturing Technicians and oversee PM programs for both facilities and manufacturing equipment. Partnering with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain, you'll drive reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement. What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and lead a maintenance team to keep manufacturing and facility equipment at peak reliability and compliance standards.
  • 2Oversee preventative maintenance (PM) programs, ensuring scheduling effectiveness and minimal production disruption.
  • 3Prioritize maintenance response to line-down situations and drive root-cause-based recovery actions.
  • 4Develop and revise SOPs and own quality improvement initiatives, including CAPA and audit findings.
  • 5Maintain and improve equipment uptime by developing robust PM and calibration programs.
  • 6Analyze maintenance KPIs to identify trends and implement corrective actions proactively.
  • 7Collaborate with Supply Chain and Engineering to manage critical spare parts inventory and vendor relationships.
  • 8Lead failure mode analysis and corrective/preventive maintenance to enhance asset reliability and lifespan.
  • 9Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Facilities, and Engineering to align maintenance priorities with operational objectives.
  • 10Mentor and develop your team of Manufacturing Technicians, fostering accountability and professional growth.

Requirements9

  • 110+ years of operations maintenance experience, with 3+ years managing direct reports.
  • 2Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 3Experience in medical device or regulated industry preferred.
  • 4Proven success managing modern maintenance systems, such as CMMS tools.
  • 5Deep understanding of medical device manufacturing processes and quality systems (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820).
  • 6Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • 7Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work across organizational boundaries.
  • 8Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and foster a culture of transparency and collaboration.
  • 9Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
