Operations Data Analyst, Power BI & SQL
Overview
You will own standard data analysis projects from request to presentation, delivering results on time and within budget. Working alongside Data Management Analysts, you'll process data, create automated routines, and report findings using Excel, Power BI, and SAP. What You'll Do8
- 1Manage standard data analysis projects from initial request to presenting results, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- 2Process and analyze data with Data Management Analysts, creating automated routines for reporting and data delivery that ensure accurate data manipulation and cleansing.
- 3Handle standard data extracts and list pulls, ensuring data accuracy and transferring data from databases to analysts for operational support.
- 4Apply data processing and analysis techniques with statistical tools to build ad hoc reports, statistics, trends, and profiles.
- 5Develop and communicate clear, concise, and actionable data analyses for clients, using Excel, Power BI, and SAP.
- 6Write SQL queries against Oracle or Business Objects to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analysis.
- 7Use UNIX shell programming (csh, awk, sed, vi) to automate data processing and improve efficiency.
- 8Leverage base-SAS and programming languages like Visual Basic, Perl, and C for advanced data analysis and automation.
Requirements9
- 12+ years of related work experience in data analysis or a related field.
- 2Deep proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, graphing, and VBA.
- 3Experience with SAP.
- 4Experience with Power BI or Power Apps.
- 5Skilled in Microsoft Access, including complex formulas, graphing, and VBA.
- 6Skilled in writing SQL queries using Oracle or Business Objects.
- 7Experience in UNIX shell programming with csh, awk, sed, vi.
- 8Knowledge of base-SAS and programming languages such as Visual Basic, Perl, and C.
- 9BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
