Senior Operations Data Analyst, Power Apps & BI
Overview
You will own operations analytics for a Power Apps ecosystem at a major client in Oakland, CA, driving data-driven decisions across the organization. You will report to the analytics lead and collaborate with operations, IT, and business stakeholders. This contract role pays $58.47hr - $63.47hr and focuses on building automated reporting solutions that save time and improve accuracy.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build Power Apps canvas and model-driven apps that automate operational workflows and reduce manual data entry.
- 2Design and deploy Power BI dashboards that visualize key operational metrics and enable real-time decision making.
- 3Develop SQL queries and data models to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into reporting structures.
- 4Ship end-to-end analytics solutions that transition from ad-hoc requests to self-service reporting for business users.
- 5Collaborate with operations and IT to define data requirements and ensure data quality across systems.
- 6Scale reporting processes by implementing automated data pipelines and alerts.
- 7Debug and maintain existing reports and applications to ensure uptime and performance.
- 8Document data definitions and application logic to support knowledge transfer and sustainability.
Requirements7
- 14+ years of related work experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, operations analytics, database management, automation, Power Apps development, or application development.
- 2Experience designing, building, deploying, and supporting Canvas or Model-Driven Power Apps.
- 3Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- 4Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dataverse and Power Automate for workflow automation.
- 5Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database management.
- 6Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- 7Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
