Overview
We seek an experienced self-sufficient Operating Room Circulator RN for an 8-week contract in San Rafael offering $80 per hour. This full-time position provides guaranteed 32 hours weekly with flexible day shifts Monday to Friday. No weekends or holidays required.
What You'll Do4
- 1Serve as primary circulating nurse coordinating patient care and surgical environment safety
- 2Manage room setup supply preparation patient positioning surgical counts and sterile field maintenance
- 3Demonstrate high-level independence across diverse surgical specialties including urology vascular orthopedics pain management spine ophthalmology and plastic surgery
- 4Accurately document perioperative nursing care and collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and surgical technicians
Requirements5
- 1Minimum 7 years recent operating room circulator experience
- 2Proven independence in specified service lines
- 3Active California RN license prior to start
- 4Active BLS ACLS and PALS certifications
- 5CNOR certification preferred
