What You'll Do6
- 1Deliver direct patient care during cardiac surgical procedures, monitoring and responding to changes in patient status.
- 2Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams to ensure optimal procedural outcomes and patient safety.
- 3Prepare, assess, and maintain the CVOR environment, including equipment and supplies.
- 4Anticipate and respond to patient needs throughout the intra-operative phase, ensuring continuity of care.
- 5Document comprehensive patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
- 6Adhere to evidence-based practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements6
- 1Current and valid RN license.
- 22+ years experience as a CVOR nurse.
- 3BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- 4Proven expertise in all phases of CVOR nursing, including pre-op and intra-op care.
- 5Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
- 6Adaptability and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team.
