Amazon seeks an Onsite Medical Representative to lead health and safety initiatives at its Philadelphia location. The role involves providing first aid, managing workers compensation programs, and promoting wellness among associates. What You'll Do11
- 1Provide first aid and refer to external providers as needed
- 2Minimize injury risks through education and proactive engagement
- 3Maintain accurate records of all care provided
- 4Coordinate workers compensation and return-to-work programs
- 5Submit daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports
- 6Engage with associates and leadership to address unsafe work habits
- 7Ensure proper medical supply inventory and equipment availability
- 8Participate in first aid CPR and AED certification training
- 9Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- 10Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols
- 11Climb and descend stairs as required for site access
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Current BLS certification from an approved provider
- 3Active EMT or Paramedic certification from state or national registry
- 4Six months recent military service as Combat Medic Field Medic Healthcare Specialist Hospital Corpsman Aerospace Medical Service Technician
- 5Six months recent civilian experience in healthcare or safety roles
- 6Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- 7Experience with digital recordkeeping systems
- 8Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workers compensation processes
- 9Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks like pushing pulling squatting bending reaching
- 10Availability for flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
