Overview
Own on-site medical care as a Health & Safety Medical Technician for Amphibious Medics, the nation's largest EMS network. What You'll Do7
- 1Deliver triage and first aid for workers, referring to outside providers when needed.
- 2Respond to on-site emergencies and make sound decisions under pressure.
- 3Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records for the site.
- 4Support safety efforts by conducting walk-throughs and delivering safety awareness training.
- 5Organize health initiatives including fairs, wellness events, and safety campaigns.
- 6Coordinate with outside medical providers and site management for seamless care.
- 7Engage with workers directly during 65% of the day to assess and address health needs.
Requirements10
- 11+ year of full-time experience in 911 emergency medical response.
- 2Valid National Registry or State EMT-B Certification.
- 3CPR certification (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer).
- 4High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5Ability to lift or carry 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- 6Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- 7Preferred: OSHA regulations knowledge (29 CFR 1910).
- 8Preferred: experience on large-scale construction sites.
- 9Preferred: knowledge of workers' compensation process.
- 10Preferred: instructor certification for First Aid, CPR, and AED training.
