What You'll Do9
- 1Pick online orders from shelves using the Order Filling app on a handheld scanner, scanning each item to verify match.
- 2Package and stage orders in temperature-controlled bags and bins, labeling them for delivery or customer pickup.
- 3Substitute out-of-stock items based on customer preferences, contacting them via the app or phone when needed.
- 4Consolidate and organize orders in the staging area to prevent damage and ensure timely dispatch.
- 5Audit order accuracy by scanning barcodes and checking weights, resolving discrepancies before handoff.
- 6Assist customers at pickup points, verifying IDs and loading orders into vehicles.
- 7Maintain cleanliness and safety in the backroom and staging areas, following OSHA guidelines.
- 8Restock pick stations with empty totes and supplies, coordinating with inventory teams.
- 9Report system glitches or inventory mismatches to the Digital Coach immediately.
Requirements8
- 11+ years in a retail, warehouse, or food service role with high-volume order fulfillment.
- 2Ability to stand and walk for 8-hour shifts and lift 50 pounds (with or without accommodation).
- 3Comfort using smartphone and handheld scanner apps, including barcode scanning and digital communications.
- 4Basic proficiency in English for reading labels and customer communication (Spanish a plus).
- 5High school diploma or GED.
- 6Availability to work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.
- 7Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- 8Willingness to cross-train in backroom and front-end roles.
