What You'll Do10
- 1Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies restrooms drinking fountains and floors
- 2Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly
- 3Wipe down handrails remove dirt dust and food from walls mirrors windows towel bars and dispensers
- 4Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed
- 5Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility
- 6Follow safety protocols using caution signage and storing chemicals securely
- 7Operate cleaning equipment and use supplies according to manufacturer instructions
- 8Keep housekeeping carts equipment and storage areas clean organized and sanitary
- 9Report resident safety concerns immediately to the Director of Housekeeping Administrator or Director of Nursing
- 10Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus
- 3Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- 4Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- 5Good communication and interpersonal skills
- 6Basic math skills of addition subtraction multiplication and division
- 7Ability to solve practical problems and handle concrete variables
- 8Physical stamina for frequent walking standing bending and lifting up to 25 lbs
