Overview

Own front office operations at All Saints Cemetery with a focus on efficient service and accurate recordkeeping at a Catholic ministry site. Collaborate with foremen, family service representatives, and other office coordinators to support interment timelines and customer needs. This temporary role runs about four months with a standard 8:30 am to 4:00 pm schedule and occasional overtime. The position requires professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive circumstances with care and respect.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Accept interment and entombment orders and inquiries from phone and in-person visitors
  • 2Enter purchases, interments, entombments, memorializations, lettering, and service requests into the database
  • 3Process invoices, receipts, and Certificate of Burial Rights
  • 4Maintain lot cards and folders and manage decoration and memorial candle programs
  • 5Prepare and record bank deposits and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • 6Prepare confidential correspondence and maintain filing
  • 7Process orders for memorials, interments, entombments, lettering, and service requests
  • 8Coordinate with Finance Manager and Superintendent as needed
  • 9Collaborate with family service representatives and other office coordinators to ensure timely service delivery

  • 1Associates degree and three years of customer-facing office experience or equivalent
  • 2Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Excel and Word and email applications
  • 3Database entry experience
  • 4General bookkeeping knowledge
  • 5Ability to interact with people under extenuating circumstances
  • 6Self-motivated with sound judgment, initiative, and problem-solving ability
  • 7Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 8Ability to multitask, establish priorities, and work with minimal supervision
  • 9Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • 10Ability to build trust with individuals from diverse backgrounds
