Office Assistant, Wholesale & QuickBooks
Overview
You'll be the welcoming face of a wholesale showroom, managing front-desk interactions and supporting daily office operations. You'll handle customer and vendor visits, schedule shipment pickups, and follow up on accounts via phone and email. Using QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, you'll assist with invoice creation, filing, and general office tasks. This role suits someone who thrives on varied duties and direct client contact, with 1+ years of customer service experience preferred.
What You'll Do6
- 1Welcome customers, vendors, and guests, directing them to waiting areas or the showroom.
- 2Schedule shipment pickups and follow up with accounts through phone calls and email.
- 3Create and review invoices in QuickBooks to ensure accuracy.
- 4File paperwork and assist with general office tasks as needed.
- 5Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries promptly.
- 6Manage front desk operations, including maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
Requirements6
- 11+ years of customer service experience.
- 2QuickBooks experience is mandatory.
- 3Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- 4Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 5Ability to work onsite, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM or 10 AM to 6 PM.
- 6High school diploma or equivalent.
