OEM Account Manager, Automotive Manufacturing
Overview
Own commercial relationships with OEM and Tier 1 automotive customers, driving growth across a $80K-$100K portfolio. Partner with Aston Carter to manage key accounts, negotiate contracts, and align cross-functional teams. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and strengthen relationships with assigned OEM and Tier 1 accounts, serving as the primary commercial contact.
- 2Drive new business by identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and closing deals with automotive customers.
- 3Manage quotes, pricing, and contracts, negotiating terms to support profitable growth.
- 4Coordinate customer requirements across operations, engineering, and finance to ensure timely delivery.
- 5Attend customer meetings and industry events to represent the company and support account development.
- 6Monitor customer portals and manage submissions for quotations and project updates.
- 7Analyze market trends and profitability metrics to spot expansion opportunities.
- 8Prepare sales forecasts and account reviews for leadership, highlighting performance and risks.
- 9Collaborate with internal teams to align on customer objectives and deliver on commitments.
- 10Drive process improvements that boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements10
- 14+ years of account management or sales experience in the automotive industry.
- 2Experience supporting OEM and Tier 1/Tier 2 customers.
- 3Background in preparing quotations, pricing proposals, and commercial agreements.
- 4Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- 5Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
- 6Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- 7Proven analytical skills for sound business decisions.
- 8Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- 9Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- 10Valid driver's license and ability to travel independently.
