Occupational Therapist, Pediatric OT for Sunshine Kids Therapies
Overview
Own a pediatric OT practice within a supportive multidisciplinary team at Sunshine Kids Therapies in Phoenix. You’ll conduct evaluations, design evidence-based treatment plans, and partner with families to build daily living skills. Choose your track: full-scale therapist or assessment & evaluation specialist, with options to focus on diagnostics or long-term therapy. This role blends play, sensory activities, and collaboration across speech, PT, and behavior teams to foster independence.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build comprehensive evaluation reports and design individualized treatment plans for each child
- 2Lead play-based, sensory-driven therapy sessions using sensors and tools to enhance fine and gross motor skills
- 3Communicate progress and practical home strategies to families to support carryover outside sessions
- 4Collaborate with speech, physical, and behavior therapy teams for holistic care
- 5Maintain eligible caseload alignment with chosen track and monitor progress toward milestones
Requirements5
- 1Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- 2Arizona OT License or immediate eligibility
- 3Experience with pediatric populations and sensory processing preferred
- 4Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage children and families
- 5Commitment to evidence-based pediatric practices
