What You'll Do8
- 1Conduct initial evaluations and develop treatment plans for pediatric patients in their homes using OT assessments.
- 2Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
- 3Collaborate with families and caregivers to integrate therapy goals into home routines.
- 4Document patient progress and adjust care plans based on clinical judgment.
- 5Coordinate with physicians, teachers, and other therapists for holistic care.
- 6Travel within assigned Denver areas to complete 3-5 visits per day.
- 7Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights.
- 8Educate parents on home exercise programs and adaptive strategies.
Requirements6
- 1Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- 2Active Colorado Occupational Therapy license by start date.
- 3Comfort working with pediatric and adult populations in home settings.
- 4Willingness to travel to patient homes across Denver and surrounding communities.
- 5Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and care teams.
