Occupational Therapist, Early Intervention (Preschool)
Overview
You'll own OT services for preschool children aged 3-5 in Delaware County, PA, through Early Intervention programs. You'll plan and deliver individual or group therapy sessions tied to IEP goals. You'll collaborate with teaching staff and parents to embed therapy into classroom activities. This 1099 role offers flexible scheduling, mentorship from Clinical Directors, and access to a lending library for evaluation tools. What You'll Do7
- 1Plan and provide specialized therapy through individual and group sessions that meet IEP goals for preschool children.
- 2Screen and evaluate student levels, strengths, and needs using approved assessment instruments.
- 3Participate in IEP and multi-disciplinary team meetings to set therapy goals and track progress.
- 4Collaborate with teachers to plan classroom activities that support skill carry-over.
- 5Involve parents in the therapy program through consultative services.
- 6Compile and file reports required by federal and state law, including IEP documentation.
- 7Maintain current knowledge of school-based therapy research and practices.
Requirements5
- 1Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist.
- 2Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- 3Child Abuse, Federal, and State Clearances.
- 4Experience with Early Intervention or preschool populations preferred.
- 5Ability to work on-site in Delaware County, PA.
