What You'll Do11
- 1Serve as a resource for clinical inquiry processes identifying potential projects and subject matter expertise
- 2Demonstrate a spirit of inquiry supporting professional curiosity through research evidence based practice and quality improvement using PDSA cycles
- 3Collaborate with teams to solve problems and implement changes
- 4Create supportive environments for nursing research scientific inquiry quality improvement and evidence based practice
- 5Disseminate findings through educational programs courses and other activities
- 6Lead as a change agent mentor leader champion for inquiry advocate for NPD specialty and partner for practice transitions
- 7Apply knowledge of regulatory standards such as CMS and OSHA
- 8Develop and deliver training programs fostering continuous learning
- 9Mentor staff through preceptorship and coaching
- 10Drive initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
- 11Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and best practices
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's of Nursing required Master's preferred field of study nursing healthcare related experience 2 years hospital nursing 1 year as NPD practitioner
- 2Registered Nurse license BLS certification required ANCC Nursing Professional Development Certification preferred CCRN acute care adult experience
- 3Physical ability to perform essential job functions available upon request
- 4Strong communication skills effective professional communicator
- 5Self directed creative initiative to fulfill seven roles of NPD practitioner
- 6Background screening compliance with Florida Level 2 requirements
- 7Experience as preceptor preferred
- 8Teaching experience in formal informal settings preferred
- 91+ year experience as NPD Practitioner preferred
