As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you'll own the full wound care journey for patients in their homes or skilled nursing facilities across central Dallas. What You'll Do6
- 1Diagnose and document patient wound care needs, defining treatment plans per plan of care.
- 2Perform wound care procedures, including debridement, application of topical products, and other management techniques.
- 3Select and order tests and procedures to optimize patient treatment outcomes.
- 4Educate patients and manage their overall care to ensure complete satisfaction and healing.
- 5Document patient findings, treatments, and follow-up notes in the patient chart.
- 6Drive locally to patient homes and SNFs to deliver on-site wound care services.
Requirements5
- 1Current Texas state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- 2CPR Certified with valid driver's license and state-required auto insurance.
- 3Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and agency interactions.
- 4Ability to travel locally within the Dallas area, with reliable transportation.
- 5No prior wound care experience required, but comfort with clinical procedures is expected.
