What You'll Do16

  • 1Manage daily unit activities to ensure high quality patient care and optimal outcomes
  • 2Communicate with physicians social workers and other staff to coordinate integrated care
  • 3Act as patient advocate overseeing discharge support and follow up
  • 4Document and supervise unit information ensuring accurate data reporting
  • 5Select train supervise and motivate staff while evaluating competencies
  • 6Direct staff meetings provide training and maintain professional development
  • 7Assess patient needs schedule staff based on capabilities and customer satisfaction
  • 8Establish effective unit procedures and maintain compliance with The Joint Commission standards
  • 9Collaborate with directors quality risk management and nursing administration
  • 10Maintain communication across hospitals and community partners
  • 11Develop and evaluate staff activities to promote knowledge of regulations and policies
  • 12Serve as educational resource for patients families and internal staff
  • 13Oversee facility management including equipment maintenance and space planning
  • 14Develop and administer annual budgets for capital operating and payroll expenses
  • 15Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • 16Ensure environmental safety through cleanliness and proper equipment function

Requirements11

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 24 years professional nursing experience
  • 3Current RN license or temporary RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing
  • 4Compact RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing
  • 5American Heart Association CPR course completion card
  • 6American Red Cross CPR course completion card
  • 7Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • 8Clinical resource for staff and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • 9Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • 10Leadership abilities with strong organizational skills
  • 11Patient centered approach to care and advocacy
