Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery Boston MA
Overview
The ideal candidate will own patient care across rotating 12 hour shifts in a high volume labor and delivery unit. This role drives outcomes through direct assessment and intervention. What You'll Do9
- 1Assess laboring patients through vital signs fetal monitoring and physical exams to identify complications
- 2Administer analgesics and oxytocin following strict protocols for pain management and induction
- 3Perform neonatal resuscitation and assist with delivery techniques including suturing and sterile practices
- 4Monitor fetal heart rate patterns using Epic or Cerner EMR systems
- 5Educate expectant mothers on labor progress pain management and postpartum care
- 6Collaborate with obstetricians anesthesiologists and pediatricians to coordinate comprehensive care
- 7Document all assessments interventions and outcomes in electronic health records while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- 8Drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance maternal and neonatal outcomes
- 9Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards
Requirements7
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Current/Active MA license in hand
- 3Current BLS ACLS and NRP certifications
- 4Massachusetts RN license in hand
- 5Relocate before starting work preferred
- 6Experience: Labor & delivery: 3 years required
- 7Shift availability: Overnight shift preferred night shift preferred
