What You'll Do6
- 1Administer analyze and appraise care provided within the Labor & Delivery unit
- 2Advise hospital management regarding patient care status budget projections and quality improvement initiatives
- 3Anticipate and plan for future departmental needs to improve patient care outcomes
- 4Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff promoting clinical competence and professional development
- 5Collaborate and coordinate department efforts to accomplish organizational goals and mission
- 6Support implementation of hospital policies procedures and best practices
Requirements7
- 135 years recent Acute Care L&D leadership experience
- 2Current RN license in Texas
- 3BCLS certification and Medication Learning Module completion
- 4NRP certification within 6 months of hire
- 5AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification within 6 months of hire
- 6ACLS and experience in TX Room PACU ICU HS L&D and OR settings
- 7Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
