What You'll Do10
- 1Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNA activities
- 2Supervise day-to-day nursing tasks under the DON to ensure regulatory compliance
- 3Coordinate with treatment plans and nursing staff to support resident outcomes
- 4Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in status
- 5Maintain accurate documentation and ensure care delivery aligns with standards of practice
- 6Participate in ongoing education/licensing requirements and stay in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
- 7Support PRN opportunities within the PACS network as needed
- 8Assist with onboarding and mentoring new nursing staff
- 9Promote a positive, respectful, and growth-oriented work environment
- 10Assist in maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu for residents
Requirements9
- 1Active PA RN license in good standing
- 2Current CPR certification
- 3Nursing experience in post-acute or long-term care settings preferred
- 4Ability to meet continuing education requirements for licensure
- 5Experience with PCC or similar electronic health record system preferred
- 6Strong supervisory and team collaboration skills
- 7Ability to work 2nd shift
- 8Must be able to work onsite in Pittsburgh, PA
- 9Excellent communication and resident-centered care focus
