Own and optimize overnight transportation and warehouse operations at scale in a fast paced logistics environment. What You'll Do11
- 1Lead overnight operations to ensure smooth workflows and on time deliveries
- 2Coordinate driver dispatch and route assignments to maximize productivity and on time performance
- 3Review and adjust transportation schedules based on operational needs
- 4Oversee daily warehouse floor activities ensuring safety and organization
- 5Serve as primary contact for drivers, warehouse staff, and customers during night hours
- 6Identify and resolve operational challenges and make timely decisions to protect delivery schedules
- 7Support staffing, scheduling, and daily labor assignments
- 8Enforce safety standards, company policies, and DOT regulations
- 9Monitor shipment progress and communicate updates as needed
- 10Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records and documentation
- 11Utilize Microsoft Excel and company systems to monitor performance and data integrity
Requirements7
- 1Prior supervisory experience in transportation, logistics, warehouse, or food distribution operations preferred
- 2Knowledge of dispatch operations and delivery route coordination
- 3Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising and developing a team
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard computer applications
- 5Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- 6Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast paced environment
- 7Dependable, reliable, and able to work overnight shifts
