What You'll Do11
- 1Assess, treat, counsel, and educate patients and families while managing medical histories and diagnostic testing
- 2Perform physical examinations and interpret imaging or lab results to identify abnormalities

- 4Coordinate care across healthcare professionals and community agencies to ensure continuity
- 5Provide telehealth services via St. Luke’s virtual platform, including case escalations
- 6Maintain accurate electronic medical records and document services for optimal billing
- 7Participate in staff mentorship programs and teach wellness habits to patients
- 8Conduct routine preventive care and manage chronic disease follow‑ups
- 9Offer occupational health services such as pre‑employment exams and workers’ compensation care
- 10Stay current with professional development through workshops, publications, and societies
- 11Contribute to research, guideline implementation, and academic training of students and residents
Requirements9
- 1Board eligibility or certification as a Registered Nurse Practitioner or Medical Physician Assistant licensed in Pennsylvania or New Jersey
- 2Physical stamina to sit up to eight hours daily, stand for extended periods, walk six hours daily, and lift objects weighing up to ten pounds
- 3Strong tactile perception, hearing, vision, and speech abilities for patient interaction and procedure execution
- 4Current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- 5Completion of a Doctor of Nursing Practice or Master of Science in Physician Assistant degree
- 6Demonstrated experience in neurology or related advanced practice settings
- 7Ability to perform routine health maintenance for diverse patient populations
- 8Commitment to evidence‑based practice and continuous quality improvement
- 9Proficiency with electronic health record systems and billing documentation standards
