What You'll Do8

  • 1Build outpatient neurology practice by managing a panel of adult patients with conditions like headaches, epilepsy, neuropathy, and dementia
  • 2Diagnose and treat neurological disorders including stroke follow-up and multiple sclerosis, collaborating with specialty providers
  • 3Conduct patient consultations and follow-up visits, ensuring continuity of care through ongoing management
  • 4Collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation specialists to develop and adjust treatment plans
  • 5Perform neurological assessments, prescribe medications, and educate patients on condition management
  • 6Review and interpret diagnostic studies including EEG, MRI, CT scans, and laboratory results
  • 7Document all patient interactions accurately in EMR systems
  • 8Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications

Requirements6

  • 1Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) with active Washington State licensure or eligibility
  • 2Active or eligible DEA registration
  • 33+ years clinical experience in neurology, internal medicine, or primary care preferred
  • 4Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
  • 5Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • 6Proficiency with EMR systems and documentation standards
