What You'll Do7
- 1Diagnose acute, episodic, and chronic neurologic illnesses in adult patients.
- 2Prescribe necessary medications and treatments, adjusting plans based on patient response.
- 3Perform comprehensive physical examinations, including neurologic assessments.
- 4Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures for common conditions.
- 5Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as needed.
- 6Communicate directly with the collaborating Neurologist on complex cases and care coordination.
- 7Assist in performing electrodiagnostic studies, such as EMG and NCV, under protocol.
Requirements5
- 1Certified Nurse Practitioner with active NP license in Arizona or ability to obtain.
- 22+ years experience in Neurology or related specialty setting.
- 3Ability to build rapport with patients and families, demonstrating empathy and clarity.
- 4Excellent written and verbal communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
