Own and manage outpatient neurology evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning for a diverse Bronx patient population. Collaborate with Primary Care, NPs, and multidisciplinary teams in a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule. What You'll Do10
- 1Build patient care plans and follow-up strategies for neurological conditions within an outpatient-focused practice
- 2Diagnose neurological disorders through clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- 3Lead treatment planning and patient education to improve outcomes and adherence
- 4Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care with emphasis on preventive neurology and chronic disease management
- 5Collaborate with PCPs, NPs, and care teams to optimize access to specialty services and streamline referrals
- 6Support inpatient consults as needed while maintaining a strong outpatient focus and continuity of care
- 7Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate documentation for outcome tracking
- 8Contribute to a collaborative clinical environment that supports teaching and knowledge sharing
- 9Engage in ongoing professional development and CME activities to stay current in neurology practice
- 10Ensure compliance with NY licensing, DEA requirements, and clinic policies
Requirements10
- 1MD or DO degree
- 2Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- 3Neurology residency completion
- 4Active or eligible New York State medical license
- 5DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
- 6Strong clinical skills in neurological diagnosis and patient education
- 7Ability to provide comprehensive neurological evaluations and follow-up care
- 8J-1 visa sponsorship available
