As a Neurologist in the Bronx, you will own diagnosis and treatment plans for a diverse patient panel with conditions from epilepsy and stroke to multiple sclerosis. What You'll Do7
- 1Deliver neurological evaluations and diagnostic assessments for epilepsy, stroke, neuropathy, and movement disorders within the first 90 days.
- 2Design treatment plans for headaches, migraines, and multiple sclerosis, integrating follow-up care and patient education.
- 3Lead patient education on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications tailored to neurological conditions.
- 4Coordinate with Primary Care Physicians and Nurse Practitioners to manage complex cases requiring multidisciplinary input.
- 5Document clinical findings and care plans in the EHR, ensuring compliance with quality and value-based care metrics.
- 6Pursue inpatient consults as applicable, expanding your impact across the care continuum.
- 7Participate in care team huddles to align on patient outcomes and preventive care initiatives.
Requirements6
- 1MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- 2Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
- 3Completion of Neurology residency training program.
- 4Active or eligible New York State medical license.
- 5DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to start.
- 6Strong clinical skills in neurological diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education.
