Large multispecialty group seeks Neurologist for outpatient care in Bronx offering flexible part-time or full-time schedule. Candidate will provide high-quality neurological care within collaborative supportive environment.
What You'll Do11
- 1Diagnose and treat neurological conditions including headaches epilepsy stroke neuropathy and movement disorders
- 2Perform comprehensive neurological exams and develop individualized treatment plans
- 3Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as EEGs EMGs MRIs and CT scans
- 4Prescribe and manage medications and therapies for acute and chronic neurological conditions
- 5Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- 6Provide follow-up care and continuity for long-term neurological conditions
- 7Coordinate referrals for advanced care imaging and rehabilitation services
- 8Educate patients and families on neurological conditions treatment options and preventive care
- 9Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems
- 10Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory standards
- 11Deliver excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Requirements7
- 1MD or DO from accredited medical school
- 2Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- 3Active or eligible NY State medical license
- 4Experience in outpatient neurology preferred
- 5Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
- 6Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
