Network Systems Administrator, Court IT
Overview
You will own the court unit's LAN and WAN infrastructure across multiple sites, supporting hundreds of users. You will oversee network operations, troubleshoot complex issues, and deploy upgrades to Cisco and Juniper equipment. You will collaborate with the IT team to ensure secure, reliable connectivity for judicial operations. What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement VLAN segmentation and VPN tunnels for secure remote access
- 2Deploy and manage Cisco switches and Juniper firewalls across all court locations
- 3Monitor network performance using SolarWinds, identifying and resolving bottlenecks
- 4Lead the migration of legacy Windows Server services to Active Directory 2019
- 5Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and routing issues to ensure zero downtime
- 6Document network architecture and maintain configuration backups in Git
- 7Coordinate with the CISO to enforce security policies and patch schedules
- 8Provide tier-3 support for VoIP and Wireless infrastructure
Requirements8
- 15+ years administering enterprise networks with Cisco and Juniper
- 2CCNA or JNCIA certification required
- 3Hands-on experience with VLANs, OSPF, and BGP
- 4Proficiency in Python or PowerShell for network automation
- 5Experience with SolarWinds NPM or similar monitoring tools
- 6Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
- 7Ability to lift 25 lbs for rack installation and cabling
- 8Must pass a background investigation
