What You'll Do10

  • 1Build staffing plans for future shifts across nursing units to maintain coverage
  • 2Coordinate patient transfers and direct admissions with hospitals and beds assigned per diagnosis
  • 3Operate electronic systems to optimize patient flow logistics and capacity management
  • 4Communicate with facility teams to ensure efficient resource usage and bed placement
  • 5Document staff time changes and maintain schedules in the scheduling system
  • 6Collaborate with Transfer Center, registration, nursing staff, and physicians for bed placement and admissions
  • 7Monitor and adjust staffing activities to prioritize admissions and transfers from multiple sources
  • 8Proactively coordinate provider to provider calls and document acceptance communications
  • 9Support patient movement across multiple facilities using established process flow and critical thinking
  • 10Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with governing regulations

Requirements5

  • 11 year related experience
  • 23 years related experience preferred
  • 3high school diploma or GED
  • 4ability to adapt to shift changes and nighttime hours
  • 5strong communication and collaboration skills
