
Network Engineer (NOC L1/L1.5)
Overview
You'll monitor network performance and troubleshoot routing, switching, and Layer 2 issues in a 24/7 NOC. Kubernetes and Docker container orchestration. 3+ years in network operations with Cisco and Juniper equipment. You'll collaborate with senior engineers and escalate complex problems, driving uptime and stability.
What You'll Do5
- 1Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues with OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
- 2Optimize routing protocols and switch configurations for Cisco and Juniper devices.
- 3Implement and maintain VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and other Layer 2 technologies.
- 4Manage Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers in a production environment.
- 5Participate in on-call rotation and respond to alerts within 15 minutes.
Requirements6
- 13+ years in network operations or NOC environment.
- 2Hands-on with Cisco and Juniper routers and switches.
- 3Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and STP.
- 4Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- 5Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios or Prometheus.
- 6Certification such as CCNA or JNCIA is a plus.
