Overview
You will own the deployment and maintenance of Cisco networking hardware across enterprise client sites, ensuring zero-downtime operations for LAN, WAN, and security infrastructure. You will join a dedicated field engineering team that supports a diverse range of industries, collaborating on complex network challenges. What You'll Do7
- 1Install and configure Cisco routers, switches, ASA firewalls, and wireless access points to meet performance requirements.
- 2Manage LAN, WAN, SAN, and MPLS infrastructures to ensure high availability and efficient data flow.
- 3Implement routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP to optimize network paths and redundancy.
- 4Deploy network security measures using ISE, PKI, IDS, and VPN technologies to protect organizational assets.
- 5Configure and support DHCP, DNS, GPO, and LDAP integration across Windows, Linux, and UNIX systems.
- 6Troubleshoot network issues using SolarWinds, PRTG, and Splunk to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.
- 7Assist with load balancer implementation using F5 or Cisco ACE to improve application delivery and performance.
Requirements9
- 13+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches, including configuration and troubleshooting.
- 2Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, QoS, and SFTP/FTP protocols.
- 3Proficiency in network security protocols such as IPsec, SSL/TLS, SSO, and VPN configuration.
- 4Experience managing LAN and WAN environments, with the ability to diagnose OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP issues.
- 5Familiarity with Active Directory, VMware vSphere/ESXi, AWS, and Citrix environments.
- 6Scripting skills in Bash or PowerShell; experience with Ansible is a plus.
- 7System administration experience across Windows Server and Linux distributions like Debian or Ubuntu.
- 8Ability to perform vulnerability assessments using tools like SolarWinds or Splunk; system hardening experience preferred.
- 9Excellent communication skills for high-pressure troubleshooting; commitment to continuous learning.
